The Wenallt flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep was established in 1996. All the purchased sheep came from top showing flocks in the country. We now have one of the largest flocks which is bred true to breed character with quality and conformation, with emphasis on hardiness since we have ground running from 700 up to 1200 feet within the Brecon Beacons. 2002 saw the first test on the N.S.P (National Scrapie Plan) with favourable results, resulting in a huge demand for male and female stock. |

| After a very successful showing
season it was very pleasing to be presented with the Harrop Flock of the
year award for the first time in 2002 and runner up in 2003. We wish all the purchasers of our stock the best of luck and hope to see some of them shown in the future. |
